The Committee

The Design Matters Committee is a group of 15 talented designers from some of the best and most hip design companies around the world.

On November 9, 2022 we met online for a workshop to discuss the topics, trends and inspiration we want to bring to Design Matters Tokyo 23.

The questions we discussed include:
– What design trends are we going to see in 2023?
– What is hot in design right now?
– What are the most important topics to discuss in design now?
– Who should speak at Design Matters Tokyo 23?

Why do we do this?
We believe that the Committee members add a global and diverse perspective to Design Matters. Spotting and understanding trends and needs allows us to engage the community as well as create a more relevant and interesting conference.

Who is part of the Committee?
All the Committee members were speakers at the previous conference in Tokyo, Design Matters Tokyo 22. Find them below.
