In the face of climate change, biodiversity loss, polarisation, growing inequality etc., designers lack simple tools. Instead, it’s important to observe the world and understand the core of design challenges.

This workshop offers inspiration to develop a deeper understanding of these challenges. It builds on research experiments in Japan’s rural context and connects with systems thinking theory. Rather than providing tools, we want to offer a framework for a richer understanding and the confidence to challenge your teams’ thinking and drive real change.

Ivy has 7+ years of experience in software product design and development. Her work involves identifying the core value of services through user research and prototyping, all the way to hands-on UX&UI design. She works closely with business and engineering teams to bring new user experiences to life.

Lars has 20+ years of working in digital products and services, from design to product strategy to team and leadership coach. I strongly belive in bringing value to users and business, by empowering teams to collaborate effectively and helping them find focus.
